1996
At the Institute Jozef Stefan (IJS), the largest research institute in Slovenia, Dr. Mark Pleško forms a group of enthusiasts to develop a control system for ANKA, a German particle accelerator.
2001
The IJS group forms its own company, Cosylab. Cosylab specialises in control systems for the planet's most complex machines; nuclear accelerators, optical and radio telescopes, fusion reactors, cancer therapy systems, and much more.
2006
Cosylab attains its first quality assurance certificate - ISO9001
2008
Cosylab has over 250 successfully finished projects with customers from the most prestigious research institutes from all around the world, such as CERN nuclear accelerator, ITER fusion reactor, ALMA radio telescope array, and many more.
